The Beautiful Experiences of the Author

Beauty is subjective. It is based on the experiences of the author. I have travelled all over Europe twice having studied in Swansea, Wales, London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland, Japan along the Shinkansen routes for around 10 times, and worked for 4 weeks in Tokyo, Istanbul, Malaya, 3 years in Singapore, Batam,Jakarta and Bandung in Indonesia. I have met many people and visited many places but I was surprised that Sabah is still the best among these places.

My definition of Heaven was restricted to just places because I was sure how to evaluate the beauty of people until I installed the AI attractiveness index and watching many Chinese and Korean dramas. I am now more confident that my views that those around me of the beauty of people are reasonable.

There is something wrong with thee Dunning-Kruger Effect. It does no apply to me.  I should never be in the peak of stupidity.

The reason is that it does not take into account of the desire of a human being for glory and luxury. I had seen glory and luxury but decided against aiming for them. Just sufficient for survival is a better target in life. My valley of despair is even longer.

I had experienced living in the most beautiful and luxurious houses for a few days with the most beautiful  girls  in the world. They are too quiet and lacking freedom. I live at a seaside bangalow 50m from the beach at Likas bay before the road was built. 3 most beautiful girls I have met and 1 boy, the eldest was of the same age as me. I was 12 years old at that time staying for a few days after an appendicitis operation. I lived at Kudat at that time. Compared to Kudat where I played by a pristine beach 500m to my house at the 2nd division government bunagalow quarters, Likas bay was nothing but after travelling all over the world, I realise that, it was heaven on earth.

I and my cousin

The second time was when I was 18 years old, after travelling by boat all over Sabah. Stopping for a few days at our uncle's hillside bongalow, the first at that time. The view was outstanding. Only the 5 of us got stuck at the house and at night it was very quiet. It was peaceful but not exciting so I rejected the vision of luxury from that day onwards but never mentioned it to many people, even to my own brothers and sisters in detail.

Their mother was even more beautiful but her husband died at a football match. He was handsome and had a promising career with the government department, just like his father, who can speak Tausug who ended up becoming a director of a department and married a dusun. I still tried to find out her ethnicity. I found a clue because my daughter-in-law has similar looks and she claimed to have a bugis ancestry. Their looks are similar to the film star Mariam Minadu, Minadu is a place in Sulawesi, the original of the Bugis. These girls probably have Tausug, Dusin and Minado/Bugis DNA.

My 6-year old granddaughter is beautiful and smart in class. Her grandmother has the Visayan and Bajau from Tubig Indangan that has the first mosque in region, built by Sharif Makdum, an Arabic preacher who converted the sultan of Malacca to Islam, and has a very fair skin, as white as the white people especially when not exposed to the sun for a long time, just like her aunties who studied in Russia.

I was not sure of my concept of human beauty until I discovered the AI Attractiveness index. Based on the attractiveness index of the film starts in Korean and Chinese drama, I discovered that my perception of female beauty tally with the results. Many of the actresses have scores of 10/10 which are obvious from their looks despite some angles where their makeup and appearance were not as beautiful, we can detect their relative beauty when compared with other women. I may be biased because they are my granddaughter or cousins, but other family members confirmed their views when I just mentioned them. I  had met many women in my travel but cannot find any that are more beautiful.

Which is why I am surprised that we cannot produce movie stars from Sabah. Our beautiful women are not for show. Our beautiful scenery are also not fully exploited for their beauty. Tourists prefer Krabi and Langkawi compared to Kota Kinabalu. I even had a clerk who wasted her retirement money to visiit Langkawi.
