There are a few shopping malls nearby, as well as a few water front food courts.

Compared to Marina Sands, Singapore, the sunset view is more impressive because it has buildings, boats, blue sea and green islands. JW Marriot Kota Kinabalu is also much cheaper than Marina Sands, Singapore.
